Kennan || Kennan's name was originally Kenaniah. Kenaniah is a Biblical character who's duty was to teach the choirs the songs of battle. He was the first one onto the battle field to lead the singers in their anthem. Originally Kennan was designed as having no other purpose other then singing. [Back in those plotless glory days]. Within the last few years, Kenaniah was shortened to Kennan for fear that people wouldn't be able to pronounce Kenaniah. Kennan is of a Greek origin and the name means "wise" or "learned".
Michael || Michael is an extremely common name, but it is also a Biblical reference. Michael was the archangel that headed the armies of heaven, so what better name for the highest angel in The Genesis? The name Michael is of a Hebrew origin and means "One who is like God".
Gabriel || Gabriel, yet another Bibical reference, was the archangel that delivered good news to the people of Earth. He is a herald in a sense. Gabriel's first name was simply Rael and actually I haven't any clue as to where I came up with it. It was later I realized that Rael sounds like the ending to Gabriel and just decided to go with that name. Gabriel is of a Hebrew origin and means "God is my strength".
Brian || Brian was first called Brian-Michael, but I had changed that when Michael came into the picture and shortened it to simply Brian. I gave him such a down to Earth name, because he prefers the company of humans over his own kind. Brian is a Celtic name meaning "Strong".
Andrew || Andrew's name really doesn't have any story behind it. I picked this name because I had a friend in Elementary school named Andrew and I've always liked the name. Andrew is of a Latin origin meaning "Manly". Ironic eh?
Torran || Torran is my pissy angel, but he's also extremely misunderstood. I thought the best way to bring that out would be to give him a name opposite of his personality. Torran is a Celtic name meaning "Tender", "Gracious" and "Good".
Baios || Baios is a name taken from Greek mythology. The statue of Baios was to represent the common man. Baios is indeed very common and low key in the story, but still very important. So therefore, the name of Baios comes from a Greek origin, meaning "Common One".
